Fabrizio Piscitelli, known as Diabolik, was the leader of Lazio’s notorious ultras football group, the Irriducibili, until he was shot in broad daylight in late 2019 in what was described as a revenge attack.

Italy have reached the final of Euro 2020, and Roberto Mancini’s men face Gareth Southgate’sEngland in the footballing showpiece at Wembley.

However, Italian football has long since been linked with ultra’s – a section of supporters renowned for their fanatical support – and Lazio are more notorious than others.

Diabolik was more well known than most, and at the height of his power, it was said he could go anywhere in the Stadio Olimpico.
